Discipleship
in Uncertain Times
Contemporary society seems to be changing day to day! Yesterdays values are replaced by supposed greater values by the time the sun rises – the world never sleeps! Technology provides a highway to spread newer ideas as truer ideas. However, “newer is not necessarily truer” as one philosopher said.
This year’s Apologetics SA Women’s Conference will focus on WHAT truth is, and HOW to disciple people with UNCHANGING truth in a CHANGING world. Methods change – truth does not! Dr Ray Ciervo, a long-time friend of South Africa, will be teaching women ‘what truth is, ‘why the gospel’ and ‘how to disciple in truth.’

Conference Speakers
Dr. Ray Ciervo
Dr Ray’s heart is to help believers strengthen their faith and become more confident in explaining it to others.
He does this by helping people to know what they believe and why they believe it to become better witnesses for the risen Lord Jesus. Dr Ray has been in Christian ministry for nearly fifty years. In this time he has planted churches, taught in a variety of locations and in the last few years has worked as an apologist. Dr Ray is the author of Apologetics for the Rest of Us: A Beginner’s Guide.
He has travelled extensively in Europe, South and Central America, Africa and the USA. He presents several conferences each year helping believers get answers to their questions about culture, history and Scripture. He holds two degrees in apologetics, a Masters degree and a Doctorate of Ministry.
Dr Ray has been married to Joanne for fifty years and they have two adult sons called Joe and Ray. Their daughter, Jennifer, passed away in 2019. They also have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
